It has been a while since I have updated!
BUT, turns out, that is a big part of blogging..... getting behind on your blog ;)
So just wanted to give a quick summary of our summer to bring you all up to speed.
Our main activity this summer was FISHING! Well, Nathaniel fished, and Emma and I went along to keep him company and cheer from the sidelines :) Next year, I will get my license too,and fish along side. But for this year, Emma requires much more hands-on attention, and we preferred they were not fishy hands - on :)
We also took our first official family vacation.
In July, we went to North Carolina, Virginia, and stopped off in Lima for a few days on our way home. We celebrated our second anniversary while on our trip! Can't believe it has been 2 years... and at the same time, it seems like we have been together much longer... (was there life before marriage? :))
Emma is growing so quickly!! She recently mastered "motion"... i call it that because it is unlike any crawling I have ever seen.... She sits on her bum and puts one leg in front, and one leg in back and works her way around the floor... it is unique, but it works for her, and she is able to get around and discover !! something she loves! :) She is a curious little tyke, and I love to see her exploring each new area! Oh, the blossoming little mind!!!
That blossoming little mind comes with a blossoming set of vocal cords, and momma is being summoned. Will finish later. :)
