... it is quite interesting to watch your child learn what she is capable of.
This week's discovery - the vocal chords. :)
Randomly, I will hear Emma "yelling" in the other room. I run in there to see if she is ok; and I find her smiling at one of her animals or happily looking around. Nothing is wrong - she is just discovering that she has a voice.
...and she WILL be heard! :)
(Occupy Playpen?)
She has been talking much more this week. lots of gurgling and cooing... a sound that still melts me! And if you talk back, she gets very excited!! She loves to carry on a "conversation" with anyone who will play along and listen to what she has to "say" :) Needless to say, we "play along" anytime she starts talking, just to watch her get excited and converse with us!
Here is a video of her "talking"

On top of talking more, Emma has started blowing bubbles..
Here is a video so you can see for yourself :D
(sorry about all the drool.. a side effect of the bubble-blowing )
i realize my child is not the first baby to discover her vocal cords
or blow bubbles...
but I still find it amazing!! :)
And I am more proud of her every day!!!
I don't know how I got such a beautiful, amazing little girl,
but I am SO thankful!!! I love her so much - bubbles, babbles and all!! :)
"Droll is a side effect of Bubble-blowing"! Oh I couldn't laugh any harder! Love the videos, so precious and exciting!
